Chef Megan Santucci

A New Jersey native, Megan recently moved to Mahopac with her husband and bird chicken wing.  After studying culinary arts in Italy, she fell upon the cafe and decided to share her talents and love for food with us :)

Debbie Ciano

Barista/office manager

Debbie was the first cook here at The Freight House.  She was a staple in putting this place together.  After a five year leave to raise her two boys she is back and better than ever.  You can find her making drinks, running errands, doing office work and anything else that needs to be done around here.  How did we function without her?

Sue Kallmeyer

Barista

Sue was one of our best customers who fell in love with the cafe and told me she would work here one day.  Four years later we are so lucky to have her as a huge part of our family.  She is a nurse by trade and anxiously awaits her 2nd grandchild!  She lives in Mahopac where she raised her two kids.

Donna Massaro

owner/chef

Donna was born and raised in Mahopac NY.  Graduating from Mahopac High School in 1990, she eventually went on to culinary school in her thirties ;) Finally finding her passion, she was chosen for the NY Culinary Olympic team winning a bronze medal. Now happy to be living her dream every single day, still living  in Mahopac with her dogs Carmen & Joey.
