Dank and the Dankateers
Dank and the Danketeers is an "acoustic" duo which delivers classic rock, country and garage covers, sprinkled generously with a dash of punk and psychedelia. Featuring the legendary DANK on acoustic guitar and his signature "Demented Croon (TM)" singing style , and the rest of the Dankateers, "Farfisa" Steve on organ, piano and vocals. The Dankateers delivers familiar and beloved tunes in a mosh-up of musical styles-- Dank is the bass player in the legendary NJ thrash band WHIPLASH and Steve, who is a 60s music fanatic who obsesses over the Beatles and vintage analog organs, can be seen in 60s tribute bands READY STEADY 60s and THE TRUANTS. Somehow, it works.

~Enamored by big city funk and small village folk, multi instrumentalist and composer Anthony Gach has combined these genres with a hint of the hard rock of his angry adolescent years and the jazz studies from his college career. Although written to be performed with his 9 piece band Harmonic Aggression, each tune is carefully deconstructed to be played in a singer songwriter setting as well and labeled as what Gach likes to call "acoustaphunk". Mixing in original ballads of loves once missed and fond childhood memories, singer songwriter Anthony Gach is a delight for the auditory canal
